About

Hello! Thank you for considering me for your therapy needs. If you’re visiting this page, you are one step closer to taking the steps needed to reach your mental health goals. You are already considering self-care! It is my passion to walk alongside people as they navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, grief, addiction, and any sort of obstacle that may result in preventing a happy and fulfilling life. By using empirically supported techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered work, people can adapt and draw on their strengths to overcome many of these obstacles.

Having been a high school teacher and continuing in the mental health field, I have learned from myself and others how much of a priority mental health can and should be. I would be honored to be a part of this journey and to help tailor the interventions that would be best for your specific needs. In addition to private practice, I also have experience in the mental hospital setting as well as at an addiction recovery center for individual and group therapy.

As for me, I have been married to my husband for six years, and together we enjoy many hobbies, but my favorite is running! I also love soccer, hiking, reading, and writing.
I have found that people who come in for counseling are not broken—they are stuck in a state of change, either within themselves or their environment. With a little bit of direction, science, and support, life can become colorful!
