    • Trifecta Health offers mental health assessments to establish a baseline mental health status, giving your provider the most accurate view of the symptoms you are experiencing. This expedites the healing journey by assessing severity up front and establishing appropriate treatment plans from the get-go.

    • Unfortunately, no. We refer anyone requesting a screening for Autism Spectrum Disorder for a full psychological evaluation to a licensed psychologist.

    • We understand that it can be difficult to put into words exactly how people are feeling. At Trifecta Health, we not only believe that performing a baseline mental health assessment upfront is best practice, but also that it is best for the patient and their journey. If you haven’t had a mental health screening or psychological evaluation within the last twelve months, we strongly recommend coming in for an assessment before starting treatment.

    • If your child is age six or older, we can perform an ADHD assessment. This includes observations from the parents, an educator of your choice, and self-observation if the child is age fourteen or older.

    • If your insurance plan has mental health benefits, we can file a claim for a mental health assessment. For the best and most accurate information about how much a mental health assessment will cost, contact your insurance company directly. Insurance contact information is usually found on the back of your insurance card.

    • Couples counseling can help with communication problems, recurring conflict, trust concerns, emotional distance, parenting stress, major life changes, intimacy concerns, and other relationship challenges. You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from counseling; some couples seek support simply to strengthen their relationship.

    • Start by contacting Trifecta Health to discuss your needs and whether you prefer in-person counseling in Dacula or virtual sessions in Georgia or Florida. Our team can help you identify an appropriate therapist, review their availability, and explain the next steps to schedule your first appointment.

    • Yes. Trifecta offers virtual counseling services in Florida when the treating provider is appropriately licensed to serve clients in the state. Availability may vary by therapist, so our team can help match you with the right provider.

    • Yes. Trifecta Health offers couples and marriage counseling for clients in Dacula and the surrounding area. Depending on the provider and service, appointments may be available in person at our Dacula location or virtually.

    • Yes. Trifecta offers virtual couples counseling to eligible clients throughout Georgia. Online sessions can be a convenient option for couples who live outside the Dacula area, have busy schedules, or simply prefer to meet from home.

    • Family counseling can help with communication difficulties, recurring conflict, parent-child relationships, behavioral concerns, parenting stress, separation or divorce, blended-family adjustments, grief, school challenges and major changes affecting the family.

Therapy can also be helpful when one family member’s emotional or behavioral health needs are affecting the larger family system. You do not need to wait until your family is in crisis to seek support.

    • Family systems therapy looks at challenges not only as something happening within one individual, but also in the context of relationships and patterns within a family.

A therapist may explore how family members communicate, respond to conflict, establish roles and boundaries, and influence one another. The goal is to identify patterns that may no longer be working and help the family develop healthier ways of relating.

Therapeutic approaches vary by provider. Trifecta includes family therapists with specific experience in approaches such as Structural Family Therapy and Strategic Family Therapy.

    • Yes. Trifecta has providers with experience supporting families raising children with special needs and understanding the complex relationships, routines and demands that can accompany caregiving.

Counseling may address communication, parenting, sibling relationships, caregiver stress, family routines, changing expectations or other issues affecting the family system.

    • No. Family counseling does not always mean that every family member attends every session.

Your therapist will consider your family’s needs and determine who may benefit from participating. Some sessions may involve the entire family, while others may include parents or caregivers, siblings, or specific family members together.

The structure can change over time as your family’s goals and needs evolve.

    • Yes. Academic struggles, ADHD, executive-function difficulties, school anxiety, behavioral concerns and learning differences can create stress for both children and parents.

When appropriate, family or child counseling can address the emotional, behavioral and relationship issues involved, while Trifecta’s academic coaching services can provide practical support with organization, executive functioning, academic habits and navigating school-related needs.

Having these services within the same organization can make it easier to consider the different factors affecting a child and family and coordinate support when appropriate.

    • Yes. Conflict between parents and children can develop around communication, behavior, boundaries, independence, school, relationships or changes within the family.

Family counseling can help parents and children better understand what is happening beneath the conflict, communicate more effectively and develop healthier ways of responding to one another.

The goal isn’t simply to determine who is right or wrong. It’s to help the family understand the patterns contributing to the problem and build more productive ways of moving forward.

    • Yes. A child’s behavior can sometimes be connected to anxiety, emotional regulation, family stress, school difficulties, developmental changes or challenges communicating what they are experiencing.

Depending on the situation, treatment may include work with the child, parents or caregivers, or family members together.

Trifecta has therapists who work with children, teens, parents and families, allowing us to consider both the child’s individual needs and the family relationships surrounding them.

    • Yes. Separation and divorce can affect children and family relationships in different ways, and counseling can provide support as everyone adjusts to changing roles, routines and expectations.

If parents are separated or divorced, it is important to let Trifecta know about custody and decision-making arrangements before counseling begins. This helps determine who can consent to treatment, how parents or guardians should participate and how information can appropriately be shared.

Establishing those expectations early also helps keep counseling focused on the child’s and family’s well-being rather than placing children in the middle of parental disagreements.

    • You meet with your provider virtually using a computer, tablet or phone from an appropriate private location in Florida.

Like in-person therapy, sessions focus on your goals, concerns and progress. The main difference is that you don’t need to travel to an office, which can make ongoing care easier to fit around work, school and family responsibilities.

    • Use our provider matcher or submit a general inquiry. Tell us where you’re located, what you’re looking for and any preferences you have for your provider.

We’ll help connect you with an appropriate Florida-serving provider and explain the next steps.

    • Start with what you want help with rather than trying to choose a therapist based only on a name or credential.

Our provider matcher asks a few questions about your location, payment preferences and what you’re seeking help with, then identifies providers who may be a good fit.

You can review their specialties and profiles before deciding whom you’d like to contact.

    • Yes. Trifecta Health has providers who serve eligible clients virtually across Florida. Sessions are conducted online, so you can receive care without traveling to our Georgia offices.

Meet our Florida providers or find one that fits your needs.

    • Some Florida-serving Trifecta therapists accept insurance, and self-pay options are also available. Insurance networks vary by provider and plan.

Current provider profiles list participating insurance companies, but coverage should always be confirmed directly for your specific plan before care begins.

Use our provider matcher to narrow providers based on your payment preferences.

    • Yes. Multiple Trifecta providers who serve Florida work with anxiety and related concerns.

Treatment may address generalized anxiety, excessive worry, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, intrusive thoughts, stress or anxiety connected with trauma and major life changes.

Jon Hester, LCSW, for example, specializes in anxiety, OCD and trauma and is licensed in Florida and Georgia.

    • Some Florida-serving Trifecta therapists work with couples and families in addition to individual clients. Availability varies by provider.

Dusty Shandy, LPC, for example, works virtually with teens, adults, couples and families. Her areas of work include relationships, parenting, family concerns, trauma, anxiety and stress.

    • Yes. Trifecta offers virtual coaching for children, teens and adults who need support with ADHD-related challenges, executive-function skills, organization, planning, motivation, routines and academic performance.

Gina Hester, M.Ed., ADHD-CE provides academic and executive-function coaching to Florida clients.

Because coaching and psychotherapy are different services, we’ll help you determine which type of support better matches what you’re looking for.

    • Yes. Brandon Massion, LCSW, is a Florida-licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Jacksonville who provides virtual counseling to teens and adults throughout Florida.

Other Trifecta providers also serve Florida virtually, so location should not limit you to a Jacksonville-based therapist.

    • No. Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando are examples of communities we serve, but our Florida services are virtual. Eligible clients can participate from communities throughout the state, as long as they are physically located in the area where their provider is authorized to practice at the time of the session.

    • Yes. Some of our Florida-serving therapists work specifically with teens and young adults. Areas of support may include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, school or college transitions, self-esteem, stress, family concerns and the transition into adulthood.

For example, Brandon Massion works with Florida clients ages 13 and older, while other Florida providers serve different age groups. Use our provider matcher to find the best current fit.

    • Yes. Trifecta has Florida-serving therapists with experience addressing trauma, PTSD and related concerns. The appropriate approach depends on your experiences, symptoms, goals and provider.

You can browse our counseling services or use our provider matcher to find a therapist whose specialties align with what you’re experiencing.

    • Trifecta therapists bring different training, specialties and therapeutic approaches to their work.

Depending on the provider and your needs, counseling may incorporate evidence-based approaches designed to address anxiety, trauma, difficult thought or behavior patterns, relationships, emotional regulation and other concerns. Some Trifecta providers also specialize in approaches such as EMDR, trauma-informed therapy and solution-focused therapy.

Rather than asking clients to choose a therapy method on their own, we encourage you to begin with what you are experiencing. We can help connect you with a provider whose expertise and approach make sense for your goals.

    • If parents are separated or divorced, it is important to let us know before counseling begins and provide information about the child’s custody and decision-making arrangements.

This helps our team understand who is authorized to consent to treatment, how parents or guardians should be involved, and how information about the child’s care can be shared appropriately. Clear communication at the beginning also helps protect the child from being placed in the middle of parental disagreements and allows therapy to remain focused on the child’s well-being.

    • Individual counseling can support people experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, stress, OCD, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, parenting challenges, college adjustment and other concerns.

Some people also seek therapy for personal growth, greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, improved coping skills or support navigating a difficult season of life.

Because every person’s needs are different, your therapist can help determine what areas of focus and therapeutic approaches may be most useful for you.

    • Start by telling us what you are experiencing and what you hope to get from counseling. You do not need to know which type of therapy or therapist you need before reaching out.

Trifecta’s provider matching tools and team can help you explore therapists based on concerns, areas of expertise, therapeutic approaches, age groups served, location, appointment format, insurance and availability.

The goal is to help you find a therapist who is a good fit for both what you are experiencing and how you would like to approach therapy.

    • Yes. Trifecta offers counseling for children who may be experiencing anxiety, behavioral changes, school-related stress, family transitions, grief, trauma, difficulty managing emotions or other challenges.

Because children often communicate differently than adults, our therapists use age-appropriate approaches to help them feel comfortable, express what they’re experiencing and develop healthy coping and communication skills. We also work with parents and caregivers when appropriate to support progress outside of therapy.

    • Yes. Trifecta has therapists who work with adults, teens and, depending on the provider, younger clients.

Different life stages often bring different challenges. Teens may be navigating anxiety, school pressure, relationships, identity, family dynamics or the transition into adulthood. Adults may seek support for mental health concerns, relationships, careers, parenting, trauma, major transitions or personal growth.

Provider age ranges and areas of expertise vary, so our team can help identify an appropriate match.

    • Yes. Virtual counseling is available to eligible clients based on the states in which each therapist is licensed.

Trifecta provides in-person counseling at our Dacula, Georgia location and virtual counseling through providers licensed to serve clients in Georgia and Florida. Availability and licensing vary by therapist, so you can filter providers by location and session format or ask our team to help identify available options.

    • Yes. School difficulties are not always just academic. Anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, low confidence, family changes, social challenges or stress can affect a child’s ability to focus, stay organized, complete assignments and feel successful at school.

At Trifecta, a child’s therapist can focus on the emotional and behavioral factors affecting their well-being, while our Academic Coaching services can provide practical support with executive functioning, organization, study habits, ADHD, learning differences, school planning and 504 or IEP needs.

When appropriate, our counseling and academic coaching professionals can work together with parents to better understand the whole child and create more consistent support across home, therapy and school. This team-based approach helps address not only how a child is performing in school, but also what may be affecting their ability to learn, cope and thrive.

    • Mental health assessments are generally covered by insurance as long as your policy has mental health benefits.

    • Unfortunately, insurance does not cover coaching services.

    • Leadership coaching can benefit new managers, experienced supervisors, executives, business owners, nonprofit leaders, professionals preparing for advancement and anyone taking on greater leadership responsibility.

You do not need to hold an executive title to benefit. Coaching can be especially valuable when you are moving into a new role or want to become more intentional about how you influence and lead others.

    • Life coaching generally focuses on broader personal goals, transitions, decisions, accountability and personal development.

Leadership coaching focuses specifically on your effectiveness as a leader, including communication, decision-making, confidence, professional relationships and leading others.

There can be significant overlap, particularly when career decisions or professional responsibilities affect other areas of life.

    • Executive coaching typically refers to leadership development for people in senior organizational roles. Leadership coaching can support people at a much broader range of career stages.

At Trifecta, coaching is based on your individual responsibilities and goals rather than your job title. New managers, experienced leaders, executives and business owners may all benefit from leadership coaching.

    • A leadership coach helps you strengthen the way you communicate, make decisions, manage relationships and respond to the responsibilities that come with leading others.

Coaching provides a structured opportunity to examine real leadership challenges, recognize patterns and develop practical strategies you can apply in your professional life.

    • Leadership coaching can help with communication, confidence, decision-making, conflict, delegation, workplace relationships, team leadership, professional transitions and managing greater responsibility.

It can also provide a confidential space to work through challenging situations before deciding how to respond.

    • No. Many people seek leadership coaching because they are successful and want to continue growing.

Coaching can help you prepare for advancement, strengthen an existing leadership style, become more effective with your team or develop skills that will support the next stage of your career.

    • Yes. Trifecta Health offers leadership coaching from our offices at 3611 Braselton Highway in Dacula, Georgia, convenient to Hamilton Mill, Braselton and surrounding North Gwinnett communities.

Online leadership coaching is also available.

Contact Trifecta Health if you have questions about current coaching rates, scheduling or whether leadership coaching is the right service for your goals.

    • Yes. Difficult conversations are a common leadership challenge.

Coaching can help you prepare for important discussions, clarify what needs to be communicated, consider how others may respond and develop a more thoughtful approach to conflict, feedback or performance conversations.

    • Yes. Moving from being an individual contributor to leading other people can require an entirely different set of skills.

Leadership coaching can help new managers develop confidence, learn how to delegate, communicate expectations, navigate difficult conversations and understand how their leadership style affects their team.

    • Yes. Leadership challenges often become more complex as responsibilities increase.

Experienced leaders may use coaching to think through organizational challenges, improve communication, navigate change, strengthen relationships or gain perspective on decisions that are difficult to work through internally.

    • Yes. Leadership coaching can be provided online, which can make it easier for busy professionals and business leaders to incorporate coaching into their schedules.

Virtual sessions provide the same focused, one-on-one opportunity to discuss leadership challenges, goals and professional development without requiring travel to the office.

    • A life coach helps you clarify goals, identify obstacles, explore options and create practical strategies for moving forward.

Rather than telling you what to do, a coach works collaboratively with you to better understand what you want and create achievable steps toward it. Coaching may also provide accountability as you work toward personal, professional or lifestyle goals.

    • Life coaching can help with personal growth, career decisions, goal setting, confidence, accountability, relationships, work-life balance, leadership development, life transitions and creating healthier routines or priorities.

You do not need to have a major problem to work with a life coach. Many people seek coaching because they want to become more intentional about what comes next.

    • No. Career development is one common reason people work with a coach, but life coaching can address many areas of personal development.

Clients may seek coaching around relationships, confidence, decision-making, routines, parenting, major transitions, work-life balance, personal goals or figuring out what they want from the next stage of life.

    • Yes. Some Trifecta coaching services are available in person at our offices at 3611 Braselton Highway in Dacula, Georgia, near the Hamilton Mill and Braselton areas.

Virtual coaching is also available for clients who prefer to meet online.

    • There is no single timeline for coaching.

Some clients work with a coach for a limited period while navigating a decision, transition or specific goal. Others continue coaching over a longer period for accountability, personal growth or professional development.

Your goals and progress can help determine what makes sense for you.

    • Therapy is a mental health service provided by licensed clinicians who can assess, diagnose and treat mental health conditions.

Life coaching is generally focused on goals, growth, decision-making, accountability and moving from your current situation toward a desired future.

Because Trifecta offers both counseling and coaching, we can help you determine which type of support may be more appropriate if you are unsure where to begin.

    • Life coaching is generally not considered a mental health treatment and is typically a self-pay service rather than a service billed to health insurance.

Contact Trifecta before scheduling if you have questions about current coaching rates, payment options or the services offered by a particular provider.

    • No. Some clients begin coaching with a very specific goal, while others simply know that they feel stuck or want something in their lives to change.

One of the first parts of coaching can be identifying what matters most to you and turning a general desire for change into clearer priorities and actionable goals.

    • Yes. Feeling stuck is one of the most common reasons someone may consider life coaching.

You may know that you want something to change without being able to clearly define what that change should look like. Coaching can help you examine your priorities, identify barriers and turn uncertainty into practical next steps.

If feeling stuck is connected to significant anxiety, depression, trauma or another mental health concern, counseling may be more appropriate. Trifecta can help you determine the right starting point.

    • Yes. Trifecta offers virtual coaching, making it possible to meet with your coach from a private location that works for you.

Online life coaching can be especially convenient for busy professionals, parents, college students and clients who prefer not to add travel time to their schedules.

Availability and meeting format vary by provider.

    • Not necessarily.

How long medication is appropriate depends on the condition being treated, your symptoms, how you respond to treatment and other individual factors.

For some people, medication may be used during a particular period of life. For others, longer-term treatment may provide the best symptom management and quality of life.

These decisions should be made collaboratively with your prescribing provider. You should not stop or change psychiatric medication without first discussing it with the clinician managing your treatment.

    • Medication management is designed to evaluate exactly those concerns.

Your provider can review what you are taking, how long you have been taking it, what symptoms have improved or persisted and any side effects you are experiencing.

When appropriate, your provider may recommend changes to the medication, dosage or treatment strategy.

The goal is to find a treatment plan that provides meaningful benefit while minimizing unwanted effects.

    • Your first appointment typically involves a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, health history, current and previous medications, treatment experiences and goals.

Your provider may ask about areas such as mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, physical health and daily functioning to better understand the full picture.

From there, you can discuss whether medication may be appropriate and, if so, what treatment options make sense for you.

Follow-up appointments focus on how you are responding, whether symptoms have changed, possible side effects and whether any adjustments are needed.

    • Trifecta medication management providers work with a range of mental health concerns, including:

      • Anxiety
      • Depression
      • ADHD
      • Mood disorders
      • Bipolar disorder
      • Panic attacks and panic disorders
      • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
      • Trauma- and PTSD-related symptoms
      • Sleep and insomnia concerns
      • Eating disorders
      • Mood swings
      • Postpartum and women’s mental health concerns
      • Other psychiatric symptoms

Your provider will determine whether medication management is appropriate based on your individual symptoms, health history and needs.

    • Yes. Virtual medication management is available when clinically appropriate and when the provider is licensed to treat clients in the state where they are physically located during the appointment.

      Some medications have additional requirements.

For certain controlled medications used for severe anxiety, panic or insomnia, Trifecta requires an in-person initial appointment and at least one in-person appointment each year during ongoing prescribing.

Your provider can explain any requirements that apply to your specific treatment.

    • You and your counselor may discuss the possibility of adding medication to your treatment plan depending on the severity of symptoms, but in general, meeting with a counselor does not require that you also see a prescribing provider.

    • If the medication is a controlled substance (benzodiazepine) such as Xanax or Klonopin, our prescribing providers require patients to be seen in person for their first appointment and then may be seen virtually for follow-up appointments. For ongoing treatment where controlled substances are prescribed, we require at least one in-person appointment annually.

    • If the medication is a controlled substance (sedative-hypnotics) such as Ambien or Lunesta, our prescribing providers require patients to be seen in person for their first appointment and then may be seen virtually for follow-up appointments. For ongoing treatment where controlled substances are prescribed, we require at least one in-person appointment annually.

    • If the medication is a controlled substance (stimulant) such as Adderall or Vyvanse, our prescribing providers require patients to be seen in person for their first appointment and then may be seen virtually for follow-up appointments. For ongoing treatment where controlled substances are prescribed, we require at least one in-person appointment annually.

    • There isn’t one point at which everyone “should” consider medication.

It may be worth speaking with a qualified prescribing provider when symptoms such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, panic, mood changes, OCD or sleep difficulties are interfering with relationships, school, work or everyday life.

A medication evaluation does not automatically mean you will be prescribed medication. It is an opportunity to discuss what you are experiencing, understand available options and make an informed decision with your provider.

    • Yes. Trifecta medication management providers work with teens and adults experiencing ADHD and related concerns.

Treatment begins with understanding your symptoms, functioning, medical history and previous treatment. Your provider can then discuss appropriate treatment options and ongoing monitoring based on your individual needs.

Medication is only one potential part of ADHD support. Depending on the person, counseling or executive-function and academic coaching may also be helpful.

    • Not necessarily.

Whether counseling should be part of your treatment depends on what you are experiencing and what your provider recommends.

Some people receive medication management independently. Others benefit from combining medication with individual, family or other counseling services.

Your provider can discuss which combination of services makes the most sense for your needs.

    • Yes. Ongoing care requires routine follow-up appointments to have prescriptions refilled. This helps ensure that your provider keeps your overall well-being as the top priority.

    • Yes. Trifecta currently has medication management providers who work with teens as well as adults.

For younger clients, treatment may involve parents or guardians as appropriate while still creating space for the teen to participate in their own care.

Provider age requirements vary, so families should review the individual provider’s profile when scheduling.

    • Our prescribing providers treat children ages 16 & up.

    • Yes. For many people, medication and therapy can address different parts of the same challenge.

Medication may help reduce symptoms that make daily life or therapeutic work more difficult, while counseling can help you understand patterns, process experiences, strengthen coping skills and create behavioral or emotional change.

Because Trifecta offers both counseling and medication management, providers can support a more coordinated approach when collaboration is appropriate and you have authorized communication between members of your care team.

You do not have to choose between medication and therapy simply because both may be beneficial.

    • Of course! We welcome any medical history you would like included in your records here at Trifecta Health. Please have your records faxed to our office at 678-280-1390.

    • We have counselors who meet with children as young as 6 and serve patients across the lifespan, including aging adults. Anyone seeking medication must be at least sixteen years old.

    • Due to provider availability limitations, Trifecta Health does not provide services in cases involving current or pending litigation.

    • Providing appropriate levels of care for autism is critical. At Trifecta Health, counseling services are available for individuals aged six and older who have been diagnosed with autism and whose symptoms are mild. Medication is available to assist with emotion regulation associated with autism for individuals aged sixteen and older.

    • Trifecta Health requires that those needing an official return-to-work or disability determination be seen by a provider for at least 3 appointments before eligibility can be considered.

    • Unless written legal documentation is provided, adults aged 18 and older must request and establish care with our practice for themselves.
