About
Jon Hester, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker serving adults in Georgia and Florida. With more than 25 years of clinical and executive leadership experience, Jon helps clients navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, PTSD, stress, major life transitions, and the unique pressures that can come with work, relationships, and leadership responsibilities.
Jon has particular experience working with adults who feel overwhelmed by persistent worry, intrusive thoughts, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic, or patterns of avoidance. He helps clients better understand what drives these experiences and develop practical strategies to respond to them with greater confidence and control.
He also works extensively with individuals affected by trauma and PTSD, including complex trauma. Jon understands that trauma can influence far more than memories of the past—it can affect relationships, emotional regulation, trust, sleep, concentration, and the way people respond to stress. His approach is grounded in helping clients feel safer, more connected, and better equipped to move forward.
Men’s mental health is another important focus of Jon’s work. Many men feel pressure to handle problems on their own, minimize emotional struggles, or continue performing at a high level even when they feel overwhelmed. Jon creates a practical, straightforward environment where men can address anxiety, stress, anger, relationships, burnout, identity, and other concerns without feeling judged or pressured to fit a particular model of therapy.
Jon’s background in executive leadership also gives him a distinctive perspective when working with professionals, managers, and leaders. He understands the demands of decision-making, organizational responsibility, workplace conflict, and the balance between professional expectations and personal well-being. In addition to psychotherapy, Jon provides leadership coaching to individuals seeking to strengthen communication, emotional intelligence, confidence, resilience, and effectiveness as leaders.
Jon believes therapy should be collaborative, useful, and tailored to the person in front of him. His goal is not simply to help clients manage symptoms, but to help them better understand themselves, develop practical tools, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy room.
Jon earned his Master of Social Work from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Georgia and Florida. He provides in-person therapy at Trifecta Health in Dacula, Georgia, as well as virtual therapy for adults located throughout Georgia and Florida..
