Yes. School difficulties are not always just academic. Anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, low confidence, family changes, social challenges or stress can affect a child’s ability to focus, stay organized, complete assignments and feel successful at school.
At Trifecta, a child’s therapist can focus on the emotional and behavioral factors affecting their well-being, while our Academic Coaching services can provide practical support with executive functioning, organization, study habits, ADHD, learning differences, school planning and 504 or IEP needs.
When appropriate, our counseling and academic coaching professionals can work together with parents to better understand the whole child and create more consistent support across home, therapy and school. This team-based approach helps address not only how a child is performing in school, but also what may be affecting their ability to learn, cope and thrive.
