Life can often take us places we never hoped to go. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, a scary health diagnosis, a big life transition, or our own anxious thoughts that leave us feeling stuck, it can be hard to know how to take the next step when our stories have taken a turn. Together, we can work to identify what is most important to you and how to take steps to live according to those values.
I draw heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which aims to equip you to live a rich and fulfilling life even in the face of hardship. I also use an eclectic approach, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I can provide a faith-based counseling framework if that feels helpful and important to you. I want to create an environment and plan that suits you!
