Does everyone in the family have to attend counseling?

No. Family counseling does not always mean that every family member attends every session.

Your therapist will consider your family’s needs and determine who may benefit from participating. Some sessions may involve the entire family, while others may include parents or caregivers, siblings, or specific family members together.

The structure can change over time as your family’s goals and needs evolve.
