About

Thank you for considering me as part of your counseling journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mother of 3 girls.  I have worked with adults and seniors in a variety of settings, including private practice, college/career counseling, inpatient psychiatric facilities, inpatient rehabilitation, and preschool settings.

I specialize in women’s issues, including but not limited to motherhood/parenting/ post-partum adjustment, anxiety, self-esteem and body image, career changes, caregiver fatigue, and marriage/ relationship issues. I also enjoy working with teens, young adults, and seniors.  The foundation of my therapeutic approach is Person-Centered Therapy, meaning that my focus begins with developing a connection with clients by listening compassionately and helping clients feel understood, validated, and supported.  Other aspects of my approach include assisting in the search for meaning, focusing on values, identifying goals, collaborating to discover solutions, examining problematic thinking patterns, increasing coping skills, improving communication, involving support systems, and pursing deeper spiritual connection.
