Thank you for considering me for your counseling needs.  I am licensed in Georgia as a marriage and family therapist and have over 20 years of experience.  My career has included work in hospice, in-home intensive family therapy, community-based mental health, and inpatient acute stabilization.    Personal life experience, along with professional education and training, has helped me develop the skills to support others on their journey.   I am especially interested in working with couples and families who have a child with special needs.  I work from a Family Systems model, with a primary focus on Structural Family Therapy.  Other strategies and techniques complement this framework and help us partner together to achieve your goals.  I am married to my wife of 26 years and have four children.

Thank you for considering me for your counseling and mentoring needs. I am a licensed clinical social worker and currently work at UF Health Trauma Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. I am a Florida native and have lived in Jacksonville, FL, for the last ten years. My interest in Mental Health and passion for assisting others stems from ten years of experience in Social Work and Mental Health Services. I have worked with geriatric adults, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and at-risk youth.  While working with these vast populations, I have learned my calling is assisting at-risk youth, their transition into adulthood, and overcoming their substance use disorders. My current role entails working with individuals who range in age from 18 to 100 who have suffered physical trauma, which subsequently develops into emotional trauma. I have worked with individuals and with groups as large as twenty participants. I am honored and willing to work with any individual who is seeking services. As someone who is in recovery, I understand the importance of creating a non-judgmental atmosphere and the […]

While I primarily work with adults, as a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, I also work with a small number of families committed to this process of attachment with their children. Please inquire for more information on this program.  In addition to clinical counseling, I provide local, state, and national training on parenting, spiritual health, and trauma.  I also work with a select number of provisionally licensed therapists as a clinical supervisor.   I am very passionate about social work, and my family is a huge supporter of me and my endeavors. I have been married for 14 years and have 4 amazing […]

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here!If you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, or the effects of trauma, you don’t have to face it alone. I specialize in working with individuals who experience generalized anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, complex trauma, and PTSD, helping them navigate the overwhelming thoughts, fears, and emotions that can make daily life feel exhausting. Anxiety can show up in many forms—constant worry, racing thoughts, intrusive fears, physical symptoms, or avoidance of situations that feel overwhelming. It can make even simple decisions feel paralyzing and create a sense of being stuck. Trauma, whether from past experiences or ongoing stress, can keep you in a cycle of hypervigilance, emotional distress, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Through evidence-based approaches, I help clients untangle the root causes of their anxiety and trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and reclaim a sense of control, confidence, and peace. In addition to my work with anxiety and trauma, I also support men’s mental health and leadership coaching. Many men feel pressure to suppress emotions, navigate personal struggles alone, or meet high expectations at […]
