About

Hello! I’m Catherine, and I’m so glad you are here. Thank you for considering me for your therapy needs. If you’re visiting this page, you’ve already taken an incredibly brave step toward healing, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. You deserve to feel at peace in your body and mind, and I’m honored to walk alongside you. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: your experience matters and your healing is absolutely possible.

I believe healing begins with connection. That’s why openness and trust are the foundation of the work we’ll do together. I strive to create a safe, encouraging space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I show up as myself – offering gentle challenges when needed, sitting with you in painful or uncomfortable emotions, and celebrating small victories along the way. Throughout our work, you can expect deep empathy and unconditional positive regard.

One of the most powerful tools I use is EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This research-backed therapy helps your brain and body process difficult memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. EMDR works differently than traditional talk therapy; it helps your nervous system let go of stuck emotions and reactions. In addition to EMDR, I take an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating traditional talk therapy and other evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Many people hesitate to seek help because of shame – the feeling that you’re “too broken” or your problems are “too much.” If you’re carrying shame about your story, your struggles, or parts of yourself because you feel you need to hide, that’s often where our most meaningful work begins.

My clinical background includes individual, family, and group therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. With personal insight into mental health challenges and the impact of incarceration on families, I bring authentic compassion to this work. I’ve partnered with prison ministries and worked extensively with individuals and families affected by incarceration – an area of deep personal and professional importance to me. Through all of this work, I’ve seen the power of authentic relationships and the healing that happens when we truly feel seen and understood.

I’ve found that people who come to therapy aren’t broken – they’re navigating incredibly difficult human experiences that sometimes leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. With the right support, tools, and safe connection, healing and growth are not only possible but inevitable.
