About
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am humbled by the privilege of being part of the multidisciplinary team at Trifecta Health. I am a native Georgian and live in Duluth with my husband, four children, and two cats and dogs who enjoy gardening, painting, and family adventures in my free time. I am a family-focused provider who meets personal goals of wholeness and wellness through a collaborative treatment approach. With over a decade of experience in the medical field and a background including ER, ICU, and internal medicine, I bring a whole-body approach to mental health. I am passionate about family, faith, and holistic medicine. I practice from a functional mindset, believing that focusing on the whole mind and body with the help of modern medicine does the most to improve quality of life, daily function, and aid patients in meeting their own mental health goals. I value kind, compassionate, and competent care and find great strength in my family and faith. My background, passion, and viewpoints give me the unique skills to provide insightful support to those I care for.
While I am currently practicing in the field of Psychiatry and Mental health, I have a background of over 15 years in the medical field, working in areas including Eating Disorders, ER, ICU, and Internal Medicine, and hold a dual certification as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.
My great passion is collaborating with and educating patients and their families on integrative wellness, comprehensive mental and physical health, disease prevention, and individualized treatment by carefully listening and through continuous learning, creating, and crafting the art of medicine.
