About
Lisa Caiafa, MSN, RN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, patient-centered care. With over 14 years of clinical experience in emergency department, urgent care and primary care settings, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her daily practice. She realizes the importance of taking a whole-body approach in order to maximize her patients’ therapeutic response to treatment and improve their quality of life. Her primary care and emergency department background make her uniquely qualified to assist patients of Trifecta Health in the medical management of mental health conditions. She has a strong clinical interest in managing anxiety and depression, particularly in women, while also promoting overall wellness through evidence-based family medicine practices. She is known for her compassionate approach and for building long lasting, trusting relationships with her patients while empowering them to take an active role in their physical and mental health.
Lisa is a native Atlantan and Georgia trained clinician. She earned her BSN from Georgia State University and her MSN from Kennesaw State University. Her roots in Atlanta and her lifelong connection to medicine — her parents owned and operated a medical practice — fuel her deep commitment to the community she serves. She whole-heartedly believes in a collaborative approach to medicine as well as empowering patients through shared medical decision making. Outside of work, Lisa prioritizes time with her family. She met her husband in college, and they were married shortly after she graduated. While she loves being a nurse practitioner, her favorite title of all is, “Mom.” As a family, they love to travel and especially enjoy exploring new places together. She is happiest by the water and loves being on the lake or at the beach. She also enjoys cooking and finds great pleasure in feeding her family and friends a delicious meal.
