About

Thank you for considering me for your counseling needs.  My interest in counseling and mental health stems from 25 years of experience in youth ministry and education. I have worked with children of all ages and their parents as an Associate Director of Preschool, Second Grade teacher, and Associate Director of Youth Ministry. I have led group studies for girls and retreats focusing on worry, fear, and anxiety, and am passionate about helping teenagers realize their worth and potential. While I work primarily with children and adolescents, I have experience working with people of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, parenting struggles, transitions into adulthood, and career counseling.  As a certified SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator, I enjoy working with young couples preparing for marriage and walking alongside them through pre-marital counseling.

Taking the first step into the counseling office can be difficult, and I strive to provide a warm, comfortable space for all my clients.

As your counselor, I am honored to walk alongside you. I believe in providing a non-judgmental environment that allows you to feel comfortable and safe to express yourself.   As a Christian, I love the opportunity to incorporate faith and values into therapy sessions for those who desire to do so.  I am a wife and mother of three, and I understand the demands of busy family life.  I have office hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  After-school/evening appointment times are available to help accommodate busy family schedules. I look forward to working with you and/or your child!
